Norcross Cooperative Ministry is a multi-congregation ministry that provides food, clothing, small household items, English classes, employment and financial counseling and other assistance to needy families who reside in Norcross. Christ the King assists with food and clothing drives. Volunteers are needed to sort clothing, stock food items, talk to persons in need, and work in the office. Cathy Freeman is the Coordinator.  Contact the church office for more information, or go directly to the Norcross Cooperative Ministry Website.

Pray for the NCM Board, staff, and volunteers as we face new challenges this year with the increase of client requests and uncertainty concerning our resources.  Contact the Co-op at 770-263-0013 if you can volunteer or would like more information.

Simple Ways That You Can Help

Do You Knit, Crochet, or Do Other Types of Hand Work?  Our KNOTS group (Knitting for the Needs of Others) would love to have you join us if you like to knit or crochet! In 2013 we'll be meeting on the first and third Sundays of each month at 2:30 p.m. in room 142. We have lots of fun visiting with each other as we create hats, scarves, baptismal blankets, etc., etc. Our next meeting will be January 20th (in the Bookstore because of a schedule conflict). For more information contact Asta (astamoore@bellsouth.net).
