Ken Santiago's Celebrate Christ The King Task Force Update, March 20-21, 2010.

For those of you who don’t know me yet, my name is Ken Santiago and I am the Chair of the Task Force, and here to give you a quick update on what we are doing for this month of March. The Task Force is charged with leading the congregation through the process of discovering and defining our Mission & Vision to the point of appointing a Call Committee to seek a permanent Senior Pastor.

On March 9th, we received the results from the Reveal Spiritual Life Survey that you took online, and have  been working on our Mission Statement. On March 23rd the Task Force will meet to analyze and discuss these results of the Reveal Survey, complete the Mission Statement and begin working on the Vision Statement with the help of the Long Range Planning Committee. Once this is completed, we will ask for a date to meet with the congregation to explain the results of the Reveal Survey and also reveal the Mission and Vision Statements.

Once we have the Mission and Vision Statements completed, we will finally be able to complete our Ministry Site Profile which describes who we are and what we want to become. This document is required by the Southeastern Synod before the Call Committee can effectively consider pastoral candidates.  With these challenging tasks ahead of us, we ask that you continue to pray with us and for us every Thursday at 4:24 PM.
