There is SO MUCH going on in the Children’s Ministry at Christ the King that we simply couldn’t put it all in “Connections” - the church-wide newsletter. So here we are in “The Net.” The name has a two-fold meaning: first, look at this passage of Scripture from the book of Mark when Jesus calls his first disciples (Mark 1:16-20). Did you know we’re all called to use Christ’s net to fish for people? “The Net” is also a short name for a network—some way of communicating that keeps people informed of events and happenings. So "The Net” is our avenue of communication to let all people know about the ministry and outreach opportunities of the Children’s Ministry at CtK!
It is my hope and prayer that you will look forward to receiving your copy of “The Net” every other month, because you just can’t wait to see what’s in store for your child(ren) - and you! I hope that the information contained therein will also serve as a tool not only to keep you better informed as parents, but also to get your friends and neighbors excited about the ministry opportunities here at CtK as you invite them to participate and discover the one thing that God requires of us—to grow in a deeper, more meaningful relationship with Him!
If you're not getting "The Net," you can e-mail us your name and address and we'll be happy to add you to our mailing list!
