Three New Adult Sunday Classes Will Meet January 8th, 15th, 22nd, (No classes January 29th) and February 5th, 12th, and 19th:
1st Corinthians: Pastor Jim Christ will facilitate a class on 1st Corinthians using the Book of Faith Series. This six-week study examines the correspondence from the apostle Paul to the early church in Corinth. Paul's letters to this church provided guidance--for persons new to the faith as well as those growing in faith--about what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. This study examines some of the "big questions" the church faced and that we still face today. This study will meet in on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. in room 143.
Hebrews: Ted Spitler will facilitate a class on the book of Hebrews using the Book of Faith Series. This six-week study takes 5 big questions based on the text and challenges participants to explore them thoroughly together. Hebrews is one of the more sophisticated New Testament writings. This study will meet on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. in room 155.
"What Is a Lutheran?" Class: Pastors Sherry and Brian will facilitate a study on what it means to be a Lutheran. Whether you are new to the Lutheran Church or you are interested in knowing more and growing in you relationship with others, please join us as we study Baptism, Holy Communion, the Priesthood of All Believers, Sola Scriptura (Bible Alone), Martin Luther, Lutheran Worship and Justification by Grace Through Faith. Join us in the Bookstore (in the Atrium) Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. Click here or sign up on the Connection Card in weekend worship.

Women on Wednesdays Bible Study: On Wednesday, January 4th, we will start Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed: A Study of David that is based on the teaching sessions of the Deeper Still conference, featuring Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer, and Kay Arthur. These three women explored their lives and the life of David in this six-session women's Bible study. The messages presented by these beloved authors are divided into three segments, two lessons from each author. Each segment focuses on David at a different stage of his life: as a young man, as a middle-aged man, and as a man facing the final third of his life. You'll laugh with them, cry with them, and learn to love God with them. We will meet at Noon in room 156 on the following dates: January 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, February 1st and 8th. Sign up on the blue Connection Card at weekend worship, click here or contact Clarice (cwasmuth@comcast.net) for questions.
